Blog.com down for almost 8 hours

The blogging service Blog.com was unavailable almost 8 hours straight last Friday (January 16).
The outage started at 5:05 a.m. CET and didn’t end until 12:50 p.m. CET (a total of 7 hours and 45 minutes). The site was completely unreachable during that time, indicating either a server or network failure.
(This outage was detected by the Pingdom uptime monitoring service.)

  1. i have my blog on blog.com and i want to change it. It is always down and people always tell me they can’t even leave comments because there is always a problem on it. How can i change to wordpress or another host?

    1. Just sign up to WordPress. It’s free. If you want to export your content from blog.com, based on my experience, try to log in from blog.com site (and not your blog at blog.com meta log in [page]), and export the data to your WordPress. I forgot the details. Good luck.
