Pingdom API

You can access all the data and settings in your Pingdom account through our REST API. This web service API makes it possible for you to create your own applications built on top of Pingdom.

We understand that no matter how many features we have there will always be special needs. So instead of limiting you, we are offering our API so you can build your dream application.

Note that the REST API is currently in public beta, but it is stable and we encourage you to use it for any new projects.

How do I get started with the API?

1. Register your application in our control panel. You will then get an application key that you use when accessing our API.
2. Read our full REST API documentation. It contains tips and hints to get you started and also information about all methods available.

SOAP API

Important! The SOAP API is replaced by our REST API. Please upgrade any existing applications that use the SOAP API, and use the REST API for any new applications. The SOAP API was deprecated on August 31, 2011.
